Streetfishing in Copenhagen

Copenhagen offers a variety of angling possibilities. Mainly in saltwater but there is also different freshwater possibilities in and around the city.

The most common fish to catch are seatrout, flounder, cod and whiting. Depending of the season coalfish, garfish, perch, and mackerel is common as well. Unfortunately cod fishing has been made illegal from 2024 in order to protect cod in the Baltic Sea.
